Building Confident Financial Futures Since 2019
We started lomvireqosa because too many Australians felt overwhelmed by financial jargon and conflicting advice. Six years later, we're still here—helping people make sense of their money without the corporate nonsense.
How We Actually Got Started
Back in 2019, our founder was sitting in a café in Coffs Harbour, overhearing a couple argue about whether they could afford a home loan. The frustration in their voices wasn't about money—it was about not understanding their options.
That conversation stuck. Most financial education felt either too academic or too salesy. There had to be a middle ground where real people could learn practical skills without feeling talked down to or pushed into products they didn't need.
So we built lomvireqosa. Not as another financial services firm, but as an education platform that treats people like adults who can make smart decisions when given clear information.
What Guides Our Work
Plain Language Always
If we can't explain it simply, we haven't understood it ourselves. No buzzwords, no jargon that makes you feel stupid. Just clear explanations that respect your time.
Long-Term Thinking
Quick fixes rarely work with money. We focus on building understanding that lasts years, not just solving today's problem and leaving you stranded next month.
Real Independence
We don't sell financial products. We're not getting commissions for steering you anywhere. This keeps our advice focused on education, not sales targets.
Six Years of Growth
-
1
2019: The Beginning
Started with weekend workshops in our local community centre. Twelve people showed up to our first session about budgeting basics. Those twelve told their friends, and within three months we were running weekly sessions.

2021: Going Digital
The pandemic pushed us online faster than we'd planned. Turned out to be a blessing—suddenly we could reach people across NSW and beyond. Our online programs launched in August 2021 with 180 participants.

2023: Expanding Topics
Added investment education and retirement planning to our core offerings. These were the most requested topics from our community, so we spent six months developing curriculum that actually made sense.

2025: Where We Are Now
Over 3,000 people have gone through our programs. We've refined our approach based on real feedback, added ongoing support options, and we're planning new courses for late 2025 focusing on the challenges younger Australians face.
Meet Our Lead Educator
Freja Lindqvist
Head of Education
Freja joined us in 2020 after spending eight years teaching adult education in Melbourne. She got tired of seeing financial literacy programs that either dumbed things down too much or made everything unnecessarily complicated.
What she brings to lomvireqosa is a knack for reading the room—knowing when people need more detail and when they just need the practical takeaway. Her background in psychology helps too, especially when we're covering topics that bring up anxiety or past mistakes.
Outside of work, she's usually hiking somewhere along the coast or attempting to grow vegetables in soil that really wasn't meant for it. She's been developing our 2026 curriculum updates and occasionally wins arguments about whether examples need more context or less.
See If We're Right For You
Our next learning program starts in September 2025. It's designed for people who want practical financial skills without the sales pitch. Come take a look at what we're offering.
